Tom Ford
Tom Ford is a senior associate with Design, Community & Environment (DCE) in Berkeley, California. He has been the project manager for the North Burlingame/Rollins Road Specific Area Plan and EIR for the City of Burlingame. He has also worked on many other concepts and plans for other cities in Northern California.
Before joining DCE in 1999, he was an urban designer with Calthorpe Associates in Berkeley, an Intern Architect with Taisei Corporation in Tokyo, Japan and a set designer with Industrial Light and Magic in San Rafael.
Mr. Ford received his Master of Architecture degree from the University of California in Berkeley and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Dramatic Arts from the University of California in Davis.
Mr. Ford has taken part in numerous panels and forums dealing with regional planing, and urban development. He has also received many honors and awards for his work on design and the new urbanism that is taking hold across the country.
